Social Dancing

Swingin' on the Saskatchewan

Swinging on the Saskatchewan is an annual summer series that brings swing dancers and Lindy hoppers together in a free, outdoor dancing experience at the River Landing Amphitheatre.  Swinging on the Saskatchewan takes place weekly on Tuesday evenings from May to September.  Each Swinging on the Saskatchewan event begins at 7pm with a free one-hour beginner dance lesson taught by members of our enthusiastic and valued community of volunteer instructors.  After that we dance until dark to music picked by our splendid volunteer Deejays.

Come out to River Landing with us and celebrate another summer of fine weather, good community, excellent swing music, and great dancing!

People attending SLH events are expected to adhere to the Saskatoon Lindy Hop Code of Conduct.

Please bring clean, non-marking dance shoes to all indoor dances.

People attending SLH events are expected to adhere to the Saskatoon Lindy Hop Code of Conduct.
