Are you interested in learning solo jazz dance? Do you want to work on rhythm steps that can add flavour to your partner dancing?

Heidi Lazorko, Jay Van Doornum, and Sonya Adams are teamed together to teach you the Big Apple dance routine, a solo jazz routine that has some elements of group choreography, which is a fun dance to do in groups at social dance events.  The Big Apple routine as it's best known today was choreographed by Lindy-hop icon Frankie Manning, and is featured in the 1937 film Keep Punching; that performance has since been nicely recreated by the Harlem Hotshots.

This highly-energetic dance class will be spread over two class sessions; bring a water bottle and appropriate footwear.

Class Schedule: 7pm-8:15pm, 2 weeks (Tues April 17th - Tues April 24th)

Saskatoon Lindy Hop Inc. is a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting vintage style swing and jazz dancing, and the swing and blues music that goes with it, around Saskatoon and area.
