"The University of Saskatchewan Swing Dance Club is dedicated to teaching the historical jazz dances of the swing era. Run through Campus Recreation, the club is focused on providing students at the U of S with a fun social activity in a welcoming environment. We hope to share our favourite dance with everyone and we prioritize safety and comfort during our lessons and dances."

University of Saskatchewan Swing Dance Club (USSDC) events occur during the regular fall and winter academic sessions at the University of Saskatchewan (pausing during end-of-term exams). USSDC events take place at the PAC (Physical Activity Centre) Dance Studio on campus. USSDC sells a limited number of student and non-student memberships, and charges drop-in admission rates to non-members ($10 drop-in admission for non-students).
Please refer to the USSDC facebook page for the most up-to-date schedule of events, and for more information about drop-in rates and memberships.
Fridays, during the regular fall and winter academic sessions, the USSDC holds one-hour drop-in beginner lessons followed by social dancing.
The USSDC has introduced new Saturday "practice session" dances, held on the first Saturday of the month during the regular academic session. The dances consist of a half-hour drop-in beginner lesson followed by social dancing.
The USSDC periodically hosts weekend workshops featuring guest instructors. See the USSDC facebook page for information about upcoming workshops.
